Norwood proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Dove Creek Bulldogs 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Norwood was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-11, 24-26, 25-18, 15-8.

Darcy Bray paced Norwood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bray got some help from Josey Tedder and her 14 assists. Tedder also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Holli Johnson, each putting up three.

Norwood's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Dove Creek, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Norwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Nucla on the 30th. As for Dove Creek, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Ridgway on the 1st.
