Softball Recap: Coquille Comes Up Short

Coquille was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the South Umpqua Lancers, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 18-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Coquille's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for South Umpqua, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lancers beat Coquille by a score of 18-0 on Thursday.
