Charlotte piles up the points against Canterbury

Make it eight blowout wins for the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Canterbury 76-38 at home. 76 seems to be a good number for Charlotte as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Jordan Attia had a dynamite game for Charlotte, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 1 assist. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Attia has scored all season. Chris Cornish was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds.

Despite the loss, Canterbury still got an impressive performance from Landon Mashburn, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Collin Meagher, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.

Charlotte has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Canterbury, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Charlotte the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Oasis at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Oasis is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Canterbury, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Seacrest Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Seacrest Country Day has now lost 16 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8.
