The Ayersville Pilots pulled ahead with a 33-32 photo finish over the Holgate Tigers on Tuesday thanks in part to Waldron, who went 7 of 15 en route to 17 points and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
Ayersville's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Holgate, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Ayersville will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Paulding at 7:30 p.m. Paulding will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Ayersville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Holgate, they will head out to face off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
