Nixa saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Pius X Warriors.

Vlad Syrnikov was the offensive standout of the match as he had seven digs and five aces. Those five aces gave him a new career-high.

Syrnikov wasn't the only good server: Nixa was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Nixa now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Pius X, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Nixa has already played their next game (against Park Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Pius X, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Belton on the 29th.
