Baseball Recap: Indian Hill's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

The matchup between Indian Hill and Monroe on Friday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Braves took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Devlan Daniel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Indian Hill: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ben Sichel, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

With the loss, Indian Hill broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4. As for Monroe, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
