Volleyball Recap: Troy Christian Beats Riverside for Their Second Straight Win

Troy Christian won the last time they faced Riverside and Reign Wilkins did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles blew past the Pirates 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Wilkins, who had 15 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Troy Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-19.

The victory made it two in a row for Troy Christian and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Riverside, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Troy Christian will head out to square off against Mississinawa Valley at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to challenge Fairlawn at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
