Volleyball Recap: Gabby Schneider's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mt. Carmel over Gibson Southern + How To Watch

Mt. Carmel lost against Gibson Southern back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Aces fell 2-0 to the Titans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15.

Mt. Carmel lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Gabby Schneider, who had nine assists and eight digs. Tenley Davis was another key player, getting nine digs and one assist.

Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Gibson Southern, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Mt. Carmel will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Casey-Westfield at 7:00 p.m. As for Gibson Southern, they will face off against Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
