Volleyball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Johnson lost against Stagg back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delta Kings. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Johnson lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Stagg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Averie Scott led the charge by getting 11 digs and one assist.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Johnson will challenge Rosemont at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stagg has already played their next matchup (against Edison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
