Wake Prep Academy's win came from a few key players Falls Lake will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Journey Johnson, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Chelsea Lange, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 11 points along with seven boards and four steals.

Wake Prep Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points over those games. As for Falls Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
