Grove City entered their tilt with St. Charles on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Grove City pushed their record up to 21-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for St. Charles, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-16.

Looking ahead, Grove City will be taking part in a tournament against Olentangy Orange at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Greyhounds 3.8, the Pioneers 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for St. Charles, they will take on New Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
