Elk Grove won the last time they faced Bartlett and things went their way on Saturday too. The Grenadiers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Hawks. Santi Limon had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Elk Grove got from the refs.

Arthur Mikina and Daniel Boyazliev scored all three of Elk Grove's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Elk Grove now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Bartlett, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
