There's no place like home for Sylmar, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over the Reseda Regents. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Regents: they've now won four in a row.

Tim Tanner Jr had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 260 yards and five TDs while completing 91.7% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (170.1). Elizeo Reyes helped Tanner Jr out on the ground, rushing for 89 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

Sylmar now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Reseda, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
