While Balboa's win against Washington wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Balboa skirted past Washington 5-4. The five-run effort marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Balboa's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Washington, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Balboa and Washington will both be playing Lowell the next time they take the field. Balboa will host Lowell at 3:30 p.m. on April 10, while Washington will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on April 17.
