 On Brooklyn's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Aiden Starr, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.  Jaydan DeLuca was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
 Open Door Christian's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 9-3-1. As for Brooklyn,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-6.
 Open Door Christian will head out on the road to  challenge  Oberlin at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
