West Florence entered their tilt with Sumter on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sumter Gamecocks a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Knights have won five matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Sumter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jordin Johnson (2), Ellison Banner (2), Sarah Cashin, and Kayden Faile.

West Florence pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four contests. As for Sumter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
