Soccer Recap: Smidt Tech Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and Smidt Tech had no trouble coming through when it counted. They beat the Roosevelt Rough Riders by a goal, winning 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grey Wolves.

Diego Golcher was the driving force of Smidt Tech's attack as he scored both of Smidt Tech's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Smidt Tech now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Smidt Tech will challenge Math & Science College Preparatory at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Math & Science College Preparatory will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Smidt Tech surely won't give up without a fight. Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
