Basketball Recap: Georgia Force Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Anderson C

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Georgia Force Christian). Everything went their way against the Anderson C Cavaliers on Wednesday as the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights made off with a 99-74 win. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Georgia Force Christian was led to victory by Carter McCarn and CJ Britt. McCarn went 10 of 18 on his way to 36 points and five rebounds, while Britt dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 assists. McCarn's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Edwards, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Georgia Force Christian's record now sits at 4-5. As for Anderson C, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgia Force Christian will challenge CSTHEA at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Georgia Force Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Anderson C, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Hope Leadership Academy at 12:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025.
