Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilbert Christian). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the ALA - Ironwood Warriors a 34-0 shutout on Monday. The Knights have beaten the Warriors the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Brody Aubut made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Gilbert Christian let Sam Webb and Camden Pallas run wild. Webb got on base in all six of his plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and four RBI, while Pallas got on base in four of his six plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five runs gave Webb a new career-high. Dane Coyle was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs.

Gilbert Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as ALA - Ironwood didn't launched any home runs.

Gilbert Christian's record now sits at 17-8. As for ALA - Ironwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
