Football Recap: Dickson Comets vs. Hugo Buffaloes
If Dickson was feeling good fresh off their 28-7 takedown of Madill last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dickson Comets fell 47-34 to the Hugo Buffaloes on Friday. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buffaloes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Dickson now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hugo, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dickson will welcome Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dickson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hugo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heavener at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
