Union City got themselves on the board against Ferris on Wednesday, but Ferris never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Soaring Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Union City is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ferris, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Union City will be playing at home against Ramsey at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Soaring Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ferris, they are taking a road trip to face off against Colonia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
