Volleyball Recap: Herlong Comes Up Short

Herlong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Plumas Charter Warriors, falling 3-0. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.

Herlong's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Plumas Charter, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Herlong is set to square off against their familiar foe Loyalton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plumas Charter will face off against rival Princeton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
