Volleyball Recap: Knoxville Central Beats Anderson County for Their Third Straight Victory

Knoxville Central took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Anderson County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Mavericks 3-2 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won three games in a row.

Knoxville Central wouldn't go down easily and took Anderson County into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 17-25, 22-25, 15-11.

Zila Hardin had an outrageously good game as she had 14 digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Hardin wasn't the only good server: Knoxville Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in three consecutive contests.
