Girard had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They breezed by the North East Grape Pickers to the tune of 73-38. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Girard's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for North East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Girard will venture away from home to face off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th. As for North East, they are taking a road trip to square off against Iroquois at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
