Grayslake North is a perfect 9-0 against Grant Community since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. Grant Community took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Grayslake North, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Grayslake North got the win against Antioch by a conclusive 6-3. The result was nothing new for Grayslake North, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Grant Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Lakes, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Grant Community can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Lakes are ranked 30th).

The victory made it two in a row for Grayslake North and bumps their season record up to 8-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two games. As for Grant Community, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
