Allen Academy's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Somerville Yeguas. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Yeguas recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Allen Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Somerville still got an impressive performance from Aubrey Flencher, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Allen Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-9-1. As for Somerville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Allen Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against St. Paul on the 23rd. As for Somerville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Calvert on the 19th.
