There's no place like home for Woods Cross, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  10-0 margin over the Highland Rams on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
The result came thanks to  Bree Benson's shutout, as she gave up just a  hit and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Woods Cross got a  massive  performance out of  Audrey Ayala, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Whitney Winegar, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Woods Cross' win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Highland,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-7.
 Woods Cross has already played their next contest,  an  11-0  loss against Viewmont on the 29th. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  an  18-3  defeat against Brighton on the 29th.
