Archbishop Hoban managed to slip by Wadsworth the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Wadsworth scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Archbishop Hoban's offense was headlined by Samantha Dehrmann and Kathleen Jones, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Madison Mintz and her 20 assists. Hope Sherman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Archbishop Hoban's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Wadsworth, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.

Archbishop Hoban has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against North on the 16th. As for Wadsworth, after both having extra time off, they and Cuyahoga Falls will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
