Timothy Christian owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wheaton Academy Warriors with a sharp 9-0 win. Considering the Trojans have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Maci Woerner, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep Wheaton Academy off the board.

At the plate, Timothy Christian got a massive performance out of Lauren Kottke, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sophia Mook, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

Timothy Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wheaton Academy only posted a batting average of .045.

The victory made it two in a row for Timothy Christian and bumps their season record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Wheaton Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9.

Timothy Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
