Heard County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-6 victory over the Clarkston Angoras. With the Braves ahead 42-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Ethan Tisdale was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 237 yards and four TDs while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (171.1). Heard County's leading receiver Zaiden Moreland was Tisdale's top target yet again, picking up 66 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Coming up, Heard County will look to defend their home field on Friday against South Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. As for Clarkston, they will venture away from home to challenge Temple at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
