Softball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Austin's offense. They came up short against the Riverside Rangers on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Riverside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Austin and Riverside will both be playing Ysleta the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rangers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
