Baseball Recap: Sanger Starts Season with Victory at Home

Sanger gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes Storm 5-4.

Sanger saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Hendricks, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes' loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Sanger will take on Ryan at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, they will face off against Mansfield Homeschool at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Mansfield Homeschool's pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
