Downingtown East had won three straight games and Ashley Januszko did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top against the Downingtown West Whippets by a score of 3-1 for which the team can thank Januszko, who had 21 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 13-25, 25-19.

Grace Hurley and Aubrey Loescher certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hurley had 14 assists, while Loescher had nine digs and one assist.

Downingtown East's victory bumped their record up to 16-4-4. As for Downingtown West, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Downingtown East will square off against rival Kennett at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Downingtown West is set to face off against their familiar foe Bishop Shanahan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
