Basketball Recap: Agua Dulce Snags 12th Victory in Last 14 Games

Agua Dulce had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys by a score of 37-26. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 33-25 on December 6th.

Agua Dulce has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Falfurrias, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Agua Dulce will square off against La Villa at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Agua Dulce's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so La Villa's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Falfurrias, they will head out to face off against Bishop at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
