Everett never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Chelsea on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 14-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Crimson Tide in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won nine in a row.

Tyler Freni and MJ Guida made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Freni struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Guida pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Freni scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Guida scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that Freni snagged this season.

In other batting news, Nordeivy Santana was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Jevaun Berberena was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-5.

Everett's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Chelsea, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Everett has already played their next contest (against Charlestown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chelsea, they will head out to face off against Revere at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
