Soccer Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Takes a Loss

Metro-East Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the Litchfield Purple Panthers. Metro-East Lutheran were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 10-2.

Alison Waller wasn't going to let Litchfield walk away unscathed as she scored both of Metro-East Lutheran's goals, bringing her season total up to four goals.

Metro-East Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Litchfield, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2-2.

Coming up, Metro-East Lutheran will challenge Althoff Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Litchfield, they have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Southwestern on the 15th.
