Hoquiam scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 23-13 to the Rochester Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Monday.

Hoquiam is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7-1. As for Rochester, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Hoquiam and Rochester could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Grizzlies will face off against Aberdeen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (188 vs. 9). Meanwhile, Rochester (ranked 86th) will meet Mark Morris (ranked seventh) at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
