Basketball Recap: Ferndale Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Ferndale had won nine straight home games dating back to last season and Iyana Davis did her part to make it ten on Thursday. The Ferndale Eagles came out on top against the Arbor Prep Gators by a score of 37-26 thanks in part to Davis, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Davis is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

With the win, Ferndale broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3. As for Arbor Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

When Ferndale and Arbor Prep next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ferndale will try to stop Detroit Country Day's five-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ferndale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Arbor Prep will try to stop Start's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
