Baseball Recap: Clarion-Limestone Finds Home Field Redemption Against Brockway

There's no place like home for Clarion-Limestone, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Brockway Rovers by a score of 7-2 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Rovers last Friday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Kohen Kemmer made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Kemmer was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-4. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Jesse Siwiecki was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jayden Siwiecki, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Clarion-Limestone's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Brockway, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Clarion-Limestone will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Keystone at 4:15 p.m. As for Brockway, they will take on DuBois Central Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
