It's playoff time, and Nazareth Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Roadrunners, who have now won nine matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Wheaton-Warrenville South lost, don't look at Owen Yorke. Despite the final result, he rushed for 115 yards and one score. Yorke has become a key player for the Tigers: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

The win was the eighth in a row for Nazareth Academy, bringing their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.6 points over those games. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Nazareth Academy has already played their next game, a 24-21 win against Lake Zurich on the 15th. Wheaton-Warrenville South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
