Baseball Game Preview: Windham-Ashland-Jewett Warriors vs. Germantown Clippers

The Windham-Ashland-Jewett Warriors will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Germantown Clippers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Windham-Ashland-Jewett and eight for Germantown dating back to last season.

On Monday, Windham-Ashland-Jewett didn't have quite enough to beat Milford Central and fell 5-4.

Meanwhile, Germantown came up short against Chatham on Monday, falling 25-2.

Germantown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Windham-Ashland-Jewett, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Windham-Ashland-Jewett beat Germantown 11-8 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Clippers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
