Football Recap: Airline Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Airline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Parkway Panthers. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Airline's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Parkway, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Looking ahead, Airline will host Haughton at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The Vikings will be up against the Buccaneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Parkway, they will head out to face off against Huntington at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Kb Williams and Justin Whitaker.
