Softball Game Preview: Hickman County Falcons vs. Bowling Green Purples

The Hickman County Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Bowling Green Purples at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Hickman County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Hickman County will head out to face Bowling Green after giving up their first home loss of the season last Tuesday. The Falcons came up short against McCracken County, falling 12-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Bowling Green hadn't beaten Logan County on the road since April 15, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Purples won by a run and slipped past the Cougars 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Purples have posted against the Cougars since May 17, 2016.

Hickman County's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bowling Green, their win bumped their record up to 5-6-1.
