Liberty Christian is a perfect 4-0 against Legacy Christian Academy since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Friday, Liberty Christian blew past Bishop Lynch, posting a 49-13 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Friars: they've now won five in a row.

It was another big night for Quinn Murphy, who rushed for 71 yards and two TDs on only seven carries, and also threw for 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Liberty Christian's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise. Correll Buckhalter helped out on the ground, rushing for 131 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Liberty Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 202 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy Christian Academy). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-13 win over Nolan Catholic. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Liberty Christian better keep an eye on Jaxson Ladd. He was instrumental in Legacy Christian Academy's win, rushing for 159 yards and two scores on only ten carries. Those 159 rushing yards gave Ladd a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brennan Baze, who picked up 124 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Liberty Christian's record now sits at 6-3. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their record is now an identical 6-3.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Liberty Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 171 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Legacy Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 184 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Liberty Christian strolled past Legacy Christian Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 71-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
