            Faith Christian Academy is 1-6 against Community Christian since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Saturday. The two teams will face off  at 2:30  p.m.  without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Faith Christian Academy will bounce into Saturday's   contest after  beating New Bern Christian Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Faith Christian Academy snuck past New Bern Christian Academy with  a  58-54 win on Friday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Conquerors.
Meanwhile, Community Christian entered their tilt with Christ Covenant on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Spartans 47-21. The Cyclones have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14  matches by 25  points or more this season.
 Faith Christian Academy better focus on containing  Jared Kovach and  Evan Gattis as the pair were huge in Community Christian's win. Kovach  went 6-for-10  on his way to 14 points in addition to five  boards and four  steals, while  Gattis  posted 16  points. Gattis' afternoon made it five games in a row in which  he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Beamon, who  scored eight points and seven  rebounds.
 Community Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Faith Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.
 Faith Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Community Christian when the teams last played  on February 4th, sneaking past  76-73. The rematch might be a little tougher for Faith Christian Academy since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
