Soccer Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

Canton lost against Ridgeland back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 5-2 to the Titans. That's two games in a row now that Canton have lost by exactly three goals.

Canton's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3-1. As for Ridgeland, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Canton will challenge rival Callaway at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Ridgeland is set to square off against their familiar foe Neshoba Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
