Basketball Recap: Mendocino Comes Up Short

If Mendocino was feeling good fresh off their 56-21 takedown of Technology last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mendocino Cardinals came up short against the St. Helena Saints on Friday, falling 67-41. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mendocino's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for St. Helena, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Mendocino will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Point Arena at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Helena and Cloverdale will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Helena knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Cloverdale likes a good challenge.
