Football Game Preview: Paris Greyhounds vs. Raceland Rams

Paris is 0-7 against Raceland since November of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Greyhounds will face off against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Paris turned things around against Nicholas County on Friday. They blew past the Bluejackets 46-12.

Xavier Brown had a dynamite game, rushing for 67 yards and three TDs, while also throwing for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. Brandon Smith-Santiago was in the mix too, providing Paris with two scores.

Meanwhile, Raceland blew past Fairview, posting a 55-6 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Paris now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Raceland, their record is now 5-2.

Paris lost to Raceland on the road by a decisive 28-14 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Greyhounds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
