Basketball Recap: Naomi Nnewihe Key Part of a Team Effort in Raiders Win

There's no place like home for Ocean City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They snuck past Varsity Opponent with a 40-34 win on Wednesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ocean City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Naomi Nnewihe, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Gabrielle Henry was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Ocean City's victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Ocean City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-28 win against Cedar Creek on the 31st. As for Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 24-22 defeat against Detroit Leadership Academy on the 29th.
