Seneca Valley is 7-1 against Wheaton since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Screaming Eagles will square off against the Knights at 3:45 p.m. Seneca Valley will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

While Seneca Valley's victory against Northwood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Screaming Eagles had just enough and edged out the Gladiators 5-4 on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Screaming Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Nathan Rampersaud was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season.

In other batting news, Seneca Valley let Arnav Kondamadugu and Vyomesh Parasa run wild. Kondamadugu got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Parasa went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits Parasa has posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, Wheaton lost 10-1 to Whitman on Friday. The Knights have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Wheaton's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Seneca Valley, their record now sits at 3-10.

Seneca Valley suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Wheaton in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Screaming Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
